"Thanks so much to you all for your support over the years guys!! 🙏💕 Together, we have achieved our goal!!"
Yesterday, Claire and Mick enjoyed a National Summit where some AMAZING NEWS was revealed!!!
Let's not forget where this journey and Claire and Mick's purpose and passion began.......
When Max was first diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy they weren't satisfied with the treatment available and their mission and passion was ignited!
Funding for intensive therapy wasn't available and so determined to do all they could to prove the initial prognosis wrong for Maxy, Claire and Mick self funded Max's intensive therapy for years!
Noticing such a huge improvement in Max they decided to create The Max On A Mission Charity so they could help other kids with physical disability too!!
That progressed into an actual trial to PROVE the benefits of Therasuit and intensive therapy and after years of hard work, joy, tears and tribulations they today celebrated a NATIONAL SUMMIT where 50 of the most influential medical professionals and researchers came to hear the outcome of the trial and celebrate their achievements!
Not only were the results of the trial absolutely POSITIVE with HUGE GAINS MADE and improved GMFM levels there was a special announcement that was made!
The Honourable Greg Hunt MP was there to announce that NDIS will now approve 250 hours of therapy for kids with Physical Disabilities so all kids can benefit from intensive therapy. 😱❤️🎉👏👏👏
They have changed National Policy! ☑️
Mind-blowing!!! Mission Complete!!
Oh hang on its Claire and Mick! I'll rephrase that!
Tighten your seatbelts and hang on for the ride!🤣🤣
What on earth is going to happen next? ......
Huge Congrats also to the Amazing Zoe and Brooke Bright Start Therapy who were the sensational therapists helping all of these kids!

This is well worth the watch if you have a young child or adolescent participating in sports, particularly those training at a high level or with reports of pain. Would love to see what they are recommending here implemented at a National level. ...
Tune into the SBS INSIGHT tonight to watch health professionals, kids, coaches and parents discuss the growing rate of serious kids sports injuries and what can be done to prevent them. Australian Netball Diamonds team physio Alanna Antcliff, APAM, and FFA National ACL & Injury prevention co-ordinator Kate Beerworth, APAM, discuss the importance of early diagnosis and commencement of appropriate, structured #rehab. Injury prevention programs like netball’s KNEE program are important in educating and preparing junior athletes for long term sport participation, social connections and wellbeing.
This is after two weeks of Tristan working hard on control around his left arm, his knee control, flexing those hips and his walking......so impressed Tristan!! Your whole team contribute to this success and make it an awful lot of fun along the way! We can’t wait to see your progress over the coming weeks and think our therapy rooms will be a little quiet next week without you (and the crazy team!!) Well done buddy!! Pray For Trist ...
